1. The Nature of Your Reservation We value your time and the opportunity to support the integrity and comfort of your skin. When you reserve a session through our secure client portal, that time is set aside exclusively for you. Because our services are specialized and modified for individual needs, this time cannot be easily filled on short notice.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes to your appointment.

• Timely Changes: If you notify us 24+ hours in advance, your deposit or service credit remains fully available for your next session.

• Short-Notice Changes: If a session is changed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the deposit or service credit used to reserve that time will be applied to the missed reservation.

• Unnotified Absence: In the event a session is missed without notification, the reservation deposit will be applied to that session, and future bookings may require full prepayment.

3. Late Arrivals To ensure the integrity of our sessions, appointments cannot be extended beyond their scheduled end time.

• 15-Minute Buffer: If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your start time without notice, the session may need to be rescheduled if it can no longer be appropriately or effectively performed. In these cases, the reservation deposit or service credit is applied to the missed time.

• Communication: If you are running late, please reach out via cell phone or text as soon as possible. We will always try to adapt the session to the remaining time when possible.

4. Flexibility for Unexpected Life Events We recognize that life, including personal health changes, caregiving needs, or physical sensitivities can be unpredictable. If a serious or unexpected circumstance prevents you from attending, please reach out when you are able. We aim to balance business continuity with a compassionate, human centered approach.

5. Gift Certificates & Prepayments In accordance with California law, any forfeiture due to a missed session applies only to the specific deposit or service credit used for that reservation. It does not affect or expire any remaining monetary gift certificate balance you may hold.

Service Credits, Packages, and Gift Certificates

These policies apply to all gift certificates, prepaid session packages, and promotional offers. All sessions are managed through our secure client portal and are subject to the completion of service alignment and choice centered forms prior to your visit.

1. Redemption & Use

• Scope: Certificates are valid for the specific service or monetary value stated at purchase.

• Requirements: All sessions require a completed intake and service-customization process to ensure the session is appropriate for your current skin surface integrity.

• Cash Value: Certificates are not redeemable for cash, except where required by California law.

2. Monetary Gift Certificates (California Compliance)

In accordance with California law:

• No Expiration: Monetary gift certificates do not expire.

• Remaining Balance: Any unused monetary balance retains its full value until redeemed.

• Flexibility: Monetary balances may be applied toward any eligible skin care or electrolysis service offered at the time of redemption.

3. Session Packages & Promotional Credits

Prepaid session packages and promotional bonus credits (including discounted bundles or complimentary additions) are designed to support service continuity.

• Terms: These may be limited to specific services and may have defined usage periods or promotional conditions disclosed at the time of purchase.

• Promotional Value: Promotional or "bonus" value (amounts gifted beyond the purchase price) has no cash value and may have an expiration date as permitted by law.

4. Cancellations & Unnotified Absences

When a certificate or package credit is used to reserve a session:

• Short-Notice Changes: Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the application of that specific service credit to the missed time.

• Unnotified Absence: If a session is missed without notification, the specific service credit used for the reservation will be applied to that time.

• Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be shortened or rescheduled if the service can no longer be appropriately performed.

• Protection of Funds: Any forfeiture applies only to the specific credit used for that reservation and does not affect any remaining monetary gift certificate balance.

5. Compassion & Flexibility

We recognize that personal health changes, caregiving needs, and unforeseen events can occur. If a serious circumstance arises, please reach out when you are able. We aim to balance professional boundaries with a supportive, human-centered approach.

6. Transferability & Refunds

• Gifting: Certificates are transferable. Redemption is contingent upon the recipient completing the required service-suitability forms.

• Finality: Once a credit is applied to a specific client account, it is no longer transferable.

• Refunds: All package and certificate purchases are final. No refunds will be issued except where required by California law.

7. Promotional Offers & Discounts

Promotional services and discount codes:

• Have no cash value and cannot be combined with other offers.

• Are typically for single-use and cannot be applied to the purchase of gift certificates.

Privacy, Professional Discretion, & Trauma-Informed Approach

Many individuals choose our services while navigating personal health journeys, clinical protocols, or sensitive experiences that require a supportive, boundary-honoring environment. Your comfort, dignity, and privacy are foundational to the Nurtured Soul Wellness experience.

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide appropriate services, manage professional scheduling, and maintain accurate business and session records.

All information shared regarding your skin surface sensitivities or personal preferences is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• Your information is never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

• Information is used or disclosed only as outlined in our Privacy Policy, or when required by law.
