Preparation Suggestions for Your Skin Care Experience

To support your comfort and prepare the skin surface, please review the gentle suggestions below. These steps are designed to promote a soothing environment for your session and can be adjusted to meet your individual preferences.

One Week Prior to Your Session

To help maintain skin surface comfort, you may wish to consider the following:

  • Pause Topical Exfoliants
You may choose to temporarily discontinue surface refining products such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), or enzyme exfoliants.

  • Limit Highly Active Topicals
Consider pausing the use of retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, or other intensive topical products that may increase surface sensitivity.

  • Sun Awareness
You may choose to avoid intentional tanning or prolonged sun exposure to help keep the skin surface calm.

  • Gentle Hair Removal
If possible, avoid waxing, threading, or other mechanical hair removal methods in the area scheduled for cosmetic services.

Day of Your Session

  • Surface Preparation
If possible, arrive with the skin surface free of heavy topical products or makeup.

  • Session Communication
To support a guest centered, comfort focused experience, you are welcome to share information that may influence session pacing or product selection, such as:

    • Recent changes to your topical routine

    • New areas of surface sensitivity, dryness, or visible reactivity

    • Recent cosmetic or professional services performed in the area

Your comfort and session experience are the priority. If you have questions about these optional preparation suggestions, you are always welcome to reach out for clarification.
